What this website collects, why, where it is kept, and who else sees it.

Before this page goes public

Two sections below are marked to be completed — how long records are kept, and who answers a privacy complaint. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act also sets specific obligations where a child’s data is collected, and this exam registers candidates under 18. Have this page read by someone qualified before you rely on it.

Prayatna Educational Society, a registered society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with its office in Delhi, runs this website and the EFI examination. This page describes what happens to information you give us here.

Only what the registration form asks for, and only what the exam needs:

  • The candidate's name, date of birth and class or grade.
  • An email address and mobile number, used to reach the candidate about this exam.
  • School or institute, and city.
  • The exam level chosen, whether it is sat online or at a centre, and which centre.
  • A reference to the payment, issued by Razorpay. We never see or store card details.
  • A postal address, only if a printed certificate is ordered.

The form accepts nothing beyond the fields it displays. We do not buy data about you, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.

If we change how any of this works, we will change this page.
